The Library of Congress Junior Fellows Program is now accepting applications for summer 2023!
The Library’s Asian Division seeks a Junior Fellow for a project to inventory South Asian serials
in Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, and Urdu, among many other languages. The
Junior Fellow will enhance the discoverability and accessibility in our online catalog of South
Asian serials in Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, and other South
Asian languages. The Junior Fellow will be trained to work in our Integrated Library System (ILS)
to update holding information and add item records for bound volumes in our collection. This
project will take place over 10 weeks on-site at the Library of Congress in Washington DC
between May 22 and July 28, 2023.
Open to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, and those who have graduated
